Anakin is a bit better than what my DH used to come up with, to be honest. For one of the boys he suggested, in all sincerity, Piers. Can you imaine that in Springside PS, where we were at the time. "Hit me now" would be an understatement. DH was brought up in the posh bit of LArgs, you see, and still has some delusions, also lived in Morningside while we were at uni.

It's really hard. All the littlies here are called things like Jaiden, Kyro, Dallas, Denver or Devin and, if you're a girl Jada, Kenzie and K'tlin. Mums who are a bit older seem to like Liam, Connor, Zac, Josh, Jamie, Nathan or Ryan, with a couple of Kyles, Johns, Bens, Logan and Andrews. The bit I live in now is the council estate attached to a posher bunch of new builds, so the names are a bit saner but still nothing like Magnus, Hector or thaddeus!
The attitudes to names and what they supposedly say about you really sucks in this part of the world, to be honest. I would have loved a Gabriel (Thomas HArdy lover) and a Grainne but there's no way you could do that to a child here.
