I spotted this in a film I watched recently. It's probably not going to be well like, but I thought I'd check.
What do you think?

How about Dulcie?

jasmine9393 · 29/08/2018 06:24

my daughter jasmine says it sounds like a stripper name but I love it I would definitely spell it just like miss Pettigrew for a day delysia because the other spellings will be mispronounced

jasmine9393 · 29/08/2018 06:13

delysia is a super pretty girly girl name I heard it on miss Pettigrew for a day If I have another daughter I will definitely name her delysia it's so feminine

boodleboot · 12/01/2010 16:38

ITS AWFUL

arionater · 12/01/2010 16:37

I was at school with a Delicia! So seems normal to me. I think it's quite pretty actually.

Cobblers · 12/01/2010 16:36

Sorry but I have to go with the majority and say no,I don't like it either. How does it sound with your surname?

pixiestix · 12/01/2010 16:27

JoeyBettany · 12/01/2010 14:29

I like Della btw.

GladioliBuckets · 11/01/2010 22:12

Sounds like a Rikki Lake punter to me. Just add an apostrophe somewhere random.
Also there's a big bokey car called a Delica.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 11/01/2010 20:56

Not good.

If you like that though, what about

Venetia (no connection at all to icecream )

NotAnOtter · 11/01/2010 20:32

sorry but NO

MaggieMnaSneachta · 11/01/2010 20:12

agree, totally porn star.

BarbieLovesKen · 11/01/2010 20:03

Immediately thought of Chris De Burgh's Patricia the Stripper song too and I'm 24

Very porno imo.

PollyTechnique · 11/01/2010 19:46

Sounds pretty but I think she would get teased at school, "delicious" etc.

wasabipeanut · 11/01/2010 19:24

No!

ChilloSTOPFOLLOWINGMEhippi · 11/01/2010 19:21

MrsMattie · 11/01/2010 19:08

Sounds like the name of a delicatessen. NO

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 11/01/2010 17:08

Another oldie here who immediately thought of Chris de Burgh.
