Identical twins!!

We are having identical twins! We don't know their flavour but have decided on the names if they're girls - Lily & Iris

But are yet to decide on the boys names!

Twin 1 will be either Freddie or Finn

Twin 2 will be Louis or George

Which do you like? And do you like our girls choices?

There is a children's book called Finn and Fred about 2 frogs.My dgs [Finn]really likes it although Finn the frog comes off worse in the story!

I think your name choices are lovely. Ds has middle names of George Frederick.

Congrats on twins. Have looked after lots of twins and though challenging is fab.

There are a HUUUUUGE number of girls called Lily at the moment. And Iris is so cool, Lily might feel jealous!

How about Iris and Hazel?

I like Finn and George.

as long as they dont have the same initials - this causes stupid fuckups with bankstatements

we have three J's and two J.D.s which was a fuckup in hindsight

Love Lily and Iris, although I am possibly biased as I have three week old twins called Iris and Rose!

Lily and Iris are lovely. There are twins called Rose and Lily at our local twins club.

Lily would have been twin 2's middle name but he was a boy and we we also going to call dc4 Lily but he was also a boy!!

I am no good with boys names, struggled naming my own 3!!!!!

But out of your choices I would go with Finn & George

Please don't give them names that start with the same letter, it causes no end of problems especially when they get older.

I think we're pretty settled on Lily & Iris, I agree it's slightly twee but they're not going to be joined at the hip for the rest of their lives!

Freddie & Finn are my faves and Louis & George DH's so we agreed to have one of each of our faves. I have a feeling we may go for Finn & George. Haven't even thought about middle names yet :S

I like Iris, not so keen on Lily. But I think it's a bit naff to have both girls named after flowers.

George is great, the others are all too "of the moment" for me - lots and lots of kids all with the same name. But if that kind of thing doesn't worry you, then I like George and Freddie.
