Really love this as a first name - classic and beautiful IMO but suddenly had the thought this morning that when combined with DS's name - Fred, it isn't great.

Have a think if you haven't already twigged why.

Am I being over cautious? Would people associate it?

Everytime we think we have the girls name cracked it goes wrong again.

Alice will be the middle name btw.

Don't.

Just snorted into my cup of tea here! Fred and Rose is really not a good combination

My son's friend's mother is called Myra - I always wondered why anyone would call their child after a child killer. She's in her late forties, which means she was born not too long after the murders.

Sorry - I'm havering.

Is your surname East, South or North? If so, I really, really wouldn't.
Why not something nice like Ian and Myra instead?

jeep · 11/12/2009 21:42

not really recommended i reckon

wasabipeanut · 11/12/2009 21:41

Ok, that's a yes to "will people associate it?" then.
