girls names not ending in ee or ah

My DH has a thing about all girls names ending in the sounds ee or ah (Millie, Lucy, Amy, Sarah, Emma etc) and for some reason wants to avoid it.

It's really difficult to come up with names that we like, but fit his silly rule. They all sound really 1970's (Lynn, Susan) or really 1950's (Beryl, Agnes)

The only ones I like are Ruth and Claire however neither of these work with our surname Roth. (Ruth Roth??? Claire Roth/Clear Off???)

Help please......

Thanks for all those suggestions. I'm reassured that if it is a girl I'll be able to find something that suits and fits in with DH's crazy whims!

'elle' names - Gabrielle, Giselle etc
'ine' names - Delphine, Seraphine etc
'bel' names - Annabel, Maribel, Isobel etc

Ellen / Eleanor
Catherine / Kate
Elizabeth or just Beth
Hope, Faith, Honour
Harriet

will think of more, I'm sure...

Annabel Roth is lovely, as is Katherine (Kate) Roth.

Tricky to avoid too many th sounds

Would avoid Grace with Roth, I think.

Ooh, I like Alice.

A lot of them still sound 1970's to me (martine, caroline, alison) but maybe thats cause I know people my age with these names. However thats not a bad thing!

Keep them coming...

PS I have 6 months to finalise this so its not as if its urgent!
