We are settled on shortlist for girls (ie cecilia, violet or beatrixe) but can't agree on a boys name. Any suggestions?

I think I may have made her up a bit by mistake..

I have never read Jackie Collins' work. I suspect from her own name that she delights in the ambiguity of male/female names?
I have heard of the wonderfully and the appropriately(?) named Modesty Blaise though. Hmmm, Blaise as a surname - I have heard of Tara Blaise a wonderful singer.

Hullygully · 04/12/2009 16:29

There's Blaise the vampy large-knockered woman in one of them there books.

sobloodystupid · 04/12/2009 16:25

Ahem, and Blaise Smith a noted Irish Artist.

There's St Blaise, the patron Saint whose feast day is in Spring.
There's Blaise Carroll, distinguished legal eagle.

M'lud, I rest my case.
