Have popped across from another board and name changed (as I think this may be an unusual one) to ask for the verdict on Bunty.

I want to use this as a full stand alone name, not short for anything.
I knew a genteel elderly lady named Bunty when I was a girl, so this has been a positive influence.

PMSL, this is a windup guys. Surely. Please?

HeiligFeierabend · 29/11/2009 20:12

It's not a name is it??? Surely not???

LowLevelWhingeing · 29/11/2009 14:16

It sounds quite Jolly Hockey Sticks to me. Or a euphemism for front bottom.

But that's probably just me

overweightoptimist · 29/11/2009 14:12

Don't like it. Do you remember the comic Bunty?

fluffyfudge · 29/11/2009 13:29

I like it.

MrsMattie · 29/11/2009 09:22

Don't be silly

As soon as I saw the title, I also thought Cunty Bunty.

A little light ribbing at school can be character-building, but that's heading into years of therapy territory.

Possibly the worst name I have ever seen suggested here.

Children can be cruel and may replace the 'B' with a 'C'.

GibbonInARibbon · 29/11/2009 08:37

No from me sorry.

BettyButterknife · 29/11/2009 08:35

I've got a great auntie Bunty - I think it's a brilliant name

juneybabe · 29/11/2009 01:57

I used to take the girls' mag.

spookycharlotte121 · 29/11/2009 00:59

makes me think of rabbits for some reason.

FluffysBeenBittenByAVampire · 29/11/2009 00:57

Wasn't this the name of Tray's mum in Sex and the City? You know, the bloke that married Charlotte and couldn't perform??

IIRC, she was a battle axe! I like the name though.
