Would love to know whay "type" of names people give their dcs - i.e. if people stick to the same thrend or style of name for their DC so they flow well together or if it doesnt really make a difference at all.

I'm due number 2 in January and am almost decided on a name, but have found myself coming to decision by trying all names with dds. Just wondering what others do...

Would love to steal hear some...

ahh i am tempted by a number 4 i have to say. tis bound to be another boy though lol

mavis or frances are def contenders if we ever have a girl though.
need a bigger house first though

ds3's name is ok. i still have days where i think it isn't quite right. but seeing as i don't have a definite one i would change it to it is probably just as well to stick with it!

GoppingOtter · 13/10/2009 22:41

Thanks for that thisisyesterday - do you think you mught go for number four and delight me with a Mavis?

I'm not a fan of pornography
but this is the baby name equivalent...

mrspnut · 13/10/2009 22:24

Mine are
Anastasia Fleur

Eloise Mae

Both chosen just because it was all we could agree on at the time.

facebookaddict · 13/10/2009 22:21

bluecheesdip we had a Samuel and although I was glad to have my girl, I would have loved to continue the theme of solid,non-bulliable gorgeous little boy names and you have excellent middle names to make them unique. My DH wouldn't allow anything fun for DS (plus we have a weird surname) but I got to play a little with DD!

littlenamechange · 13/10/2009 22:19

My beautiful dd's are:

Lucy Rose
Millie Elizabeth
Mia Hope

Some gorgeous names on this thread

bluecheesedip · 13/10/2009 22:19

facebookaddict thank you that's exactly what we were going for

GoppingOtter · 13/10/2009 22:18

Mrs woolff - I have 5 boys!

MissHavishamsDress · 13/10/2009 22:17

Ah, hello tummytickler! Now I know all your other children's names. You'd only mentioned Pearl. Fab names! I love that you decided on Hilda - but could still change? Like Cedric too.

We should keep this thread going on the promise that no one says anything negative. It's such a lovely thread and a great record/reference thread for all unnamed sproglets and sproglets-to-be! Delightful indeed!

facebookaddict · 13/10/2009 21:59

sugardumpling I LOVE YOUR NAMES, but our surname is 'y' sounding end so couldn't have either of yours although I really wanted them!
