DC1 is 5 days old and we can't quite decide between Orla, Iona (pronounced the Welsh way Yona), Nia (pronounced Knee-ah). Any suggestions for middle names that go with any of these 3

Beth or Kate could work well with all of them

Orla Maeve is lovely in my view.

I have a niece called Nia her middle name is Lucy which I think is beautfiul. (she is Welsh)

Shame she wasn't born in September as Iona (or Nia) Medi would have been lovely.

Iona/Nia Elin
Iona/Nia Elen
Iona/Nia Gwawr (is the 'Dawn' bit of your name significant?)

DD was almost Nia but DH felt it was too close to his dad's name (Neil). Nia Elisabeth works well.

All lovely names!

Why don't you choose a family name for a middle name?

Congratulations by the way!

Orla Juliet
Orla Beatrice
