I really like it 😊 Is baby having a middle name? Xxxx

ChagSameachDoreen · 06/08/2022 18:04

I love Nola. I have an aunt with this name.

Littleraindrop15 · 06/08/2022 15:10

next door neighbours dog is named Nola and my cousins cat is also Nola

I dont think I like it on a human

blameitonthecaffeine · 06/08/2022 15:08

I like it.

I think I prefer Nova, Nuala and Nyla but Nola is pretty and still fairly unusual.

Margo34 · 05/08/2022 20:23

Prefer Nula to Nola.

Or maybe Nova or Nora?

Riapia · 04/08/2022 19:01

lastminutedotcom22 · 04/08/2022 18:28

lastminutedotcom22 · 03/08/2022 23:23

There was twins at my daughters Baby massage called Noura and Nola

Love both names

JellyDeels · 03/08/2022 22:55

I know one aged 2. It's not my usual style, but I really like it actually. I like how it's easy to spell and pronounce yet it's not super popular.

Pennythoughts28 · 03/08/2022 22:12

I no really old post but just came across it I have a daughter called nola and it's a Irish name hope you used it too 🥰

Washersaurus · 22/09/2009 17:38

I quite like it, I prefer Nona/Nonah - it means 'ninth' though and I'm not planning on having that many!

elsah33 · 22/09/2009 17:35

Would use it just as 'Nola' on its own, but just not sure about it. Seems to provoke mixed reactions here as well. Hmm, Lola might be an idea too- or else Nina. Phew, glad I still have few months to go..

Really like it.

daisy71 · 22/09/2009 10:54

Urghh! Noelle is even worse, reminds me of runny noses for some strange reason. No it's definitely not happening for us-DH can whistle (can you tell I'm very hormonal and fed up with 3 weeks to go lol!?)

NormaSknockers · 21/09/2009 12:55

Love it! Very funky

KembleTwins · 21/09/2009 12:55

The main female character in "Showboat" is Nola, but it's short for Magnolia. I think it sounds a bit "made up" as a name on its own. What about Noelle, if DH wants to use his grandad's name?

smother · 21/09/2009 12:51

I really really love this name! what is it short for? or would you be happy just using Nola?

mathanxiety · 21/09/2009 01:43

New Orleans LA (?)
I like it, prefer Nora.

Monty100 · 21/09/2009 01:05

Quite like Nola.

Luuurve Lola.

Firawla · 21/09/2009 00:34

Its pretty

thell · 20/09/2009 22:27

I like it

Also like Nuala (pr. Noola)

elsah33 · 20/09/2009 22:24

There's also a Nola in Woody Allen's film Match Point. Wonder if it's more of an American name?
