Looking for slightly unusual but not too outlandish girl's name

Looking for a girl's name for my 4th (due soon). Want something recognisable and easy to pronounce but not as popular as Chloe, Jessica etc.

Any ideas???

What about Erin? not too common, easy to say, cannot be shorted, and not 'in'.

Surprised by Scottish names being seen as unusual - but I suppose they are elsewhere.

Eilidh is the Gaelic version of Helen, and pronounced "A"-lee (like the dance - a ceilidh)

Ishbel is very much an old Scottish busybody type name where I'm from. "Ishbel down at the Post Office says..."

How about Corinne?

Lovely french name - not weird but not common either. Can be pronounced two ways.

I would not know how to spell or pronouce Anwen; my tongue would trip all over it, do you say it Anwin or Anwen? Is that an E or an I for the second vowel?, etc.

Ann, Anna, Emma, Julie, Julia, Sarah, Jaqueline, Karen, Eve
Martha, Nicola, Josephine, Victoria, Louise
Helen, Ellen, Mary, Rosemary, Millicent, Joanne, Judith, Diana, Penelope

A lot of the names suggested by others are neither what I could call 'recognisable' nor obvious how to pronounce imho.

MaggieLeo · 24/08/2009 18:27

and Greta, come to think of it.
