Using this theory of combining mine and DH's first names together, my DS1 should have been called MELVIN. Not sure it would go down great in the playground.

Someone in my village has actually done this. Their daughters name is Richelle, a mix of Richard and Michelle I think they said. Think it is a popular way of naming children in the mum's culture. Not sure though. Don't know them. Just heard.
