sorry - find it quite dull

TheWorstWitch · 17/08/2009 21:52

Dull and popular

emkana · 17/08/2009 21:50

Love it.

MrsMattie · 17/08/2009 21:47

Like it very much, so I'll plump for 'classic and timeless'.
I also like Emmeline.

Still love it, it was my #2.

Emiline and Emene (Em en aye) are nice varients - when spelt correctly! I can't recall if I have them right

TsarChasm · 17/08/2009 17:13

There are an awful lot about. Dc have more than one in all their classes.

MamaLazarou · 17/08/2009 17:09

Nice name, but I can think of 53729563729 nicer ones.

MaybeAfterBreakfast · 17/08/2009 17:02

Lovely

tummytickler · 17/08/2009 17:00

QOD, I know what you mean, but I can think of a few slebs - Emily Blunt, Emily the blonde newsnight woman, Emily Watson.

A very pretty sound, but too popular.

I like Emma too, and Gemma.

I like Amelia and Amelie and Emilia less than Emily, so if you like it, just stick with Emily itself, it's the nicest of the Emily names 9as I think of them)

Mamulik · 17/08/2009 16:53

my DD2 name is Emma, so I love Emily - nice name!

seeker · 17/08/2009 16:52

Classic and timeless. Have you considered Emma, as well - there seem to be fewer little Emmas about.

QOD · 17/08/2009 16:51

the first - lovely name but 3 in my 10 yr old dd's class
It seems like an odd name for an adult to me (sorry to any adult ones) because I only know littlies with the name!
