Millicent - too old fashioned, or come full circle?

Trying to avoid the top 100 names - Millicent for a little girl, but shorten to the better-known Millie for everyday?

Oh - I lurve Mildred, but dont like nn Millie - which is what puts us off!

Its my niece's name, she is 9.

Millie is always described on MN as one of the most popular girls names around.
