I like it. I know of one and goes by Raffi. Both are quite nice in my opinion. If you like it go for it.

I have already commented on this thread.

Yes - for a dog

minipie · 03/08/2013 09:43

I actually really like it, BUT it's a bit self consciously cool/celebby. and I have a suspicion that it might get a bit, um, downmarket in future.

littlepeas · 03/08/2013 09:08

No. I don't find it posh, at all.

Loolah · 03/08/2013 07:46

It's ok I have a Rafferty in my family he's 2 and it gets shortened to Raff

Onesleeptillwembley · 03/08/2013 07:17

No, it seems a bit naff.

chestnut100 · 03/08/2013 05:41

I wanted to use this name. Without exception everyone i told laughed or immediately told me they hated it. So I didn't Smile

Layl77 · 03/08/2013 05:40

I like it

pinkpeoniesplease · 03/08/2013 05:38

I LOVE this name but can't get it passed DH. I definitely don't think it's posh?!

You should use it!!

williaminajetfighter · 03/08/2013 05:19

I really really like it. Good across all ages. Raff is lovely as a shortened version. It's not crazy posh like Tarquin or Monty, I think it's a bit artsy sounding.

invicta · 03/08/2013 04:25

I know a Rafferty - good name.

drawohamme · 03/08/2013 04:05

Welshcakes77 · 03/08/2013 03:17

Sorry *Rafferty

Welshcakes77 · 03/08/2013 03:16

I love Radferty so much so it's on my top 5 list along with Arlo

mrsradders · 22/07/2009 10:05

oohhh i like it i was thinking last night whilst watching that new roimantics thing that rafe was a cool name so rafferty is fab.

I don't think you need to be posh to use certain names, we aren't posh but it is a joke with friends that i like pretentious names HAHAHA....monty would be my demanding choice if this baby turns out to be a boy rather than a girl!!

browntrout · 22/07/2009 08:17

I like it

sybilfaulty · 22/07/2009 08:13

Sarah Beeny and Johnny Vaughan have a son called this. Not the same son, though.

Personally I'd go with Raphael / Rafael as it's a bit modern for an old dusty like me.

jammydonut · 22/07/2009 08:05

I adore the name Rafferty but I think you need a one-syllable surname for it to work. If you like it - go for it!

Boodlerpoop · 16/07/2009 11:43

I love it

thell · 16/07/2009 11:34

Not one I would choose, but I do like it

MrsToffeeCrisp · 14/07/2009 21:26

Really like it, but couldn't convince DH. Think it's a fab name.

ADealingMummy · 14/07/2009 19:14

I like it . It's the name of Jude Law's son.

PestoMonster · 10/07/2009 21:41
