e.g. Benedict, Oscar, Arthur - arent the types of names you would expect to go with Josh.

But what would without being too predictable e.g. Jack?

Hi not keen on fish ,i get a mixed reaction to be honest,i find young people tend to like it,also men seem to always comment on what a "cool" name it is.

thirtysomething · 01/07/2009 11:55

All of your names go. Also know boys called Josh/Joshua with brothers called Dominic, Oliver, Jacob, Charlie, Sam, Joseph.

ComeOVeneer · 01/07/2009 11:54

I don't get this business of siblings names having to "go together". They are individuals in their own right, their names don't need to match!

zaneyd - what reaction do you get to the name Zane?

Lovesdogsandcats · 01/07/2009 09:17

You need another one syllable name.

I have a Josh and a Jack and think they sound lovely together, they both have middle names so they will have different initials when they are old enough to get mail

notevenamousie · 30/06/2009 18:10

I thought Sam as my first thought.

HuffwardlyRudge · 30/06/2009 18:07

Dp and I answered the question before looking at the answers.

I thought Elliot.

Dp thinks Sebastian, or possibly Lucas.

MaggieBeeBeau · 30/06/2009 17:57

ChasingSquirrels · 30/06/2009 15:39

don't think I am - lol.

I used Alexander as a middle name - not because I especially liked it but because I wanted a vowel name, and ds1 is Andrew.
Isn't naming children a funny thing!
