It's the only name DH and I can agree on for a boy (with a possibility of George, but we're only half in love with that). Arthur does not go with our surname at all! Help as we've been thinking about this for months and not come up with anything!

What about Oscar? Similar in terms of syllables, it’s classic but modern in the sense it’s quite popular.

I love Arthur by the way. Also a strong contender for us!

Any Anglo-Saxon King in fact

Not like Arthur then - he'd have been looking to put the Anglo-Saxons to the sword.

Wilbur is top of our list now - probably shortened to Wil or Bertie.

We also like Hugo, George and Algernon (shortened to Algie).
