do you like the name tobby? (not pronounced toby)

i dont particularly like this name but my grandfather was named this so im not sure. my husband loves it and is trying to persuade me to putting it on the birth certificate! i dont like it but my grandfather will be so disappointed. what should i do?

Toby on the other hand is

Everyone (i'm afraid) will assume he is called Toby and the name is mis-spelt

middle name ? its cute - but can imagine him being called nobby at school. nobbys nuts & all that !

I'd assume the parents couldn't spell Toby tbh.
