It's Scottish Gaelic for beautiful but I'm not sure if it's pronounced Bree-ah or Brae-ah. Any feedback is most welcome!

I know someone with a child called Sabhdh

It's pronounced 'Sive'

But WHY do people give their offspring weird names? It's the child that's got to live with it.

truthfully if you aren't sure how will teachers et al know?

Would you really want to live with a name that everyone stumbles over?
