Thank you. That is all

Or how about Marmite or Jam or Nutella, to continue the 'things I put on my toast' vibe?

Or perhaps Sugar, Aspartame or Nutrasweet? Gula Melaka has a nice ring to it.

and Honor is a dreadful name IMO

LetThemEatCake · 24/04/2009 20:17

I have a cousin called Honey, in her 40s now. Unusual choice of name for 'back then" I would've thought.

Can't say it grabs me but hey ho. Much prefer Poopy.

Soupdragon - I use 'pumpkin' as a form of endearment - now I reckon that's got quite a ring to it bellowed dowm a supermarket aisle..." PUMPKIN - put those aubergines down and help me carry the beer"

No?

SoupDragon · 24/04/2009 20:07

No, Honey is not a reasonable name for a child. It's like naming your child Dear, Darling or Sweety-Pie.

PMSL @ Poopy - sorry OP your point has gone straight out of the window after NL's fab typo

yama · 24/04/2009 20:00

Northerlurker - Poopy? Ha ha, that's what my dd calls me.

ChasingSquirrels · 24/04/2009 19:59

ahh.

though lol at poopy!

Northernlurker · 24/04/2009 19:58

Arse!

That's 'Poppy' not 'Poopy'

DO NOT CALL YOUR CHILD POOPY

ChasingSquirrels · 24/04/2009 19:58

??

Northernlurker · 24/04/2009 19:58

I disagree - it's not had a great press on here but it is a perfectly reasonable thing to name a child. There are plenty of thirty year old Katys and Sophies and lots of girls called Kitty atm. Poopy and Daisy abound. I think 'Honey' has the same vibe as those names and it will work fine.

(also - thread about a thread - bad form!)
