Beyond awful, sorry. I imagine this name on a skinhead, as I went to school with a rough one called Winstone.

Too strongly associated with Billie Piper for me. Don't like Winnie either.

Much prefer Wilfred, have you considered that?

Think Winston only works if you have a bit of a burly robust child!
