I can stand the insults!!!! Albert or Ernest?

I know they both sound a little 'fusty' to some people, but I thought it was definitely going to be Ernest - now quite like Albert!!!
What is the general feel?

Albert - yes, because you can use Bertie...quite cute!
Ernest - NO, because his nn would be Ernie...not good. Unless his brother is Eric....
