I need to cheer myself up and focus on the positives after my 20 week scan yesterday (baby showed soft marker for Trisonomy 18)

We aren't thinking about that any more and are focusing on buying clothes and choosing names

I like
Felix
Milo
Cassius (not possible with surname)

I also like Jasper, Caspar, Silas, Rafferty and Asa but wouldn't actually choose them I don't think.

DH likes Jude and Finn.

Please feel free to make loads of suggestions .

DD is Madeleine and DS is Noah.

Had a very interesting experience on holiday with a french lad called Sebastian. Not keen on Gregory. Miles/Myles was on the list for DS1, don't like it as much this time around.

OP posts:
Sidge · 24/03/2009 21:30

Gregory?
Miles?
Sebastian?

dizzydixies · 24/03/2009 21:11

Arthur nn Art is fabulous

suwoo · 24/03/2009 21:05

Not heard of Cassian, would have to ponder that one, but yes would go. Surname has SS sound thats why Cassius is out.

Wilfred is my dads middle name and he HATES it, would not let me have Wilfred.

Friends DS is Saul and DH not keen on Reuben which I liked for DS1. I think Roan is too similar to Noah.

I am very strongly veering towards Arthur.

dizzydixies · 24/03/2009 20:04

Noah or Jonah are nice too

dizzydixies · 24/03/2009 20:04

can you have Cassian instead of Cassius or does that still not go with surname?

what about Nico
Saul
Reuben
Roan

frazzledoldbag · 24/03/2009 19:42

Also like Raphael (alternative to Rafferty?)
Arthur is fab
Leo
Dexter

Those (along with Noah!) were all on my short list for DS2

chaya5738 · 24/03/2009 16:57

I like Finn and Felix. The suggestion of Reuven is also nice.

suwoo · 24/03/2009 15:38

Will think of some more in time for Baby Loves Disco and present you with a list.

suwoo · 24/03/2009 14:27

I'm not keen on Jude, tis DH's choice.

OP posts:
MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 14:13

I'm still going with Jude.

suwoo · 24/03/2009 14:08

You would say Freddie Boswell, with you being a scouser . I am quite taken with Arthur this minute.

OP posts:
MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 14:03

Freddie reminds me of Jade Goody now. Or Freddie Boswell.

suwoo · 24/03/2009 13:29

Our cat is called Freddie though so suprised he has suggested it. We both like Dexter but Charlotte Church has nabbed it.

OP posts:
Bella73 · 24/03/2009 13:23

Ooh there's a Freddie at nursery and it has hugely grown on me as he is super cute. He is a Fredrik which I quite like (as opposed to Frederick). Also like Roderick (Roddy) but that's a bit Scottish maybe.
