Cant decide between 4 girls names ! Please help !

Hi,

Am down to 4 names for my baby girl due in June. Please tell me which name you think is best.

Lexie
Scarlett
Ella
Lola

I have an Ella and where we are its not common at all

I also have a Lexie and I can assure you its NOT chav in the slightest thank you very much - its Scottish meaning sparkling which I think is lovely

mine are short for Isabella and Alexandra

good luck with your choices, you could just wait and see what she looks like as all lovely names imo

All nice - you can't lose. I do know an awful lot of Ellas but then I knew a lot of Katies, Kates, Kittys Kathryns Katharines and Catherines when I was growing up and that's still a fab name too. Congratulations!

(Don't suppose you'd consider Ellen? Ever since Thirtysomething I've loved that name, much more American than Ella though.)

lexi or scarlett. ella very common now, and lola becoming common too. if you are concerned about that at all...

Ella apart from I know far to many little Ella's.

Scarlett - nice but a very strong name.

Lola - dont like

Lexie - Like this, sounds kind of cute.

I would've said Ella a few years ago, but I'm afraid all I can hear now in my head is that sodding song by Rihanna.

I like Scarlett.

Not keen on any of them.

Scarlet isn't my style but it's the strongest sounding. Lexie is the C word that we are not allowed say.

Lola and Ella a bit to girly and weak. Although I would like Ella short for say Gabriella or Annabella or Estella.

Ella or Lola the best IMO but they are very popular. DS1 has Ella, Lola, Lila and Lana in his class and I do get confused which is which. Scarlett and Lexie both nice too though!

My daughters are both shouting out 'scarlett' too cos I asked their opinion......they say it will be best name for school.....they are teenagers,so know it all!!
