Cant decide between 4 girls names ! Please help !

Hi,

Am down to 4 names for my baby girl due in June. Please tell me which name you think is best.

Lexie
Scarlett
Ella
Lola

I have a wonderful 3 year old neice called Ella, she loves her name and the Rihanna song (which will be forgotten soon enough).

Scarlett is on my list, so thats my favorite.

Lexie and Lola are nice, but don't have strong feelings about them.

Pick yr two faves; def depends on how she looks when born! Agree Ella v popular but nothing wrong with that. Would vote Scarlett or Lola over Lexie and Ella - prob Lola. Lexie makes me think of stationery...??

ds was going to be scarlet if girl. love it. And lexie. Lexie also can be made more grown up, if need be later on, ie, give her Alexia, Alexa Alexandra, but call her lexie.

Scarlet harder to make "respectable'!

Normally people can figure out the name when they arrive, so dont worry if you haven't decided a name, they will look like whatever name you decide then. I like Lexie, it's cool for a wee girl. Ella is to common at the moment, Scarlett am not keen on and lola is the same.

MadameCastafiore - thats certainly true in this house as we have 3 girls and one of them is Ella

certainly not that popular up here, she's the only one we've come across

on the other hand we thought we were being original with Lexie a few years ago and have now found there is ours in this village, another one a few months older in the next village and another one in the next village again

I know 2 Lola's as well

Ella - every third child is Ella or Ellie
Scarlett - pretty and different
Lola - stripper or porn star name
Lexie - pretty and different

Ella. The others aren't great, sorry. Possibly coloured by the fact that the only Lexies and Lolas I know are dogs.

Lexie and Lola are nicknames for longer names, IMO.

Ooh, your list is just too tough. Hmm, I think I'll have to go for Scarlett. It's been on my own list, but DH has vetoed it. I like Ella too.
