Boys names are so difficult...

Orson
Verne
Edward
Samuel
Gregory
Monty
Mungo
Edgar
Edmund

None of these are a definite for the short list (well DH thnks one is...) so give me the worst...

and agree with noonki, I've apparently given DD1 one of the most popular girls names without realising, tried to pick a more unusual one for DD2 and there will be 3 of this in her year at high school

pick one you love as you'll have to shout use it every day

Yes that is what happened with DDs name. There are loads of them aorund here now (all younger) but when we named her everyone aske dif we ahd made it up as it was so unusual.

I also found Vaughan in the baby name book yesterday and thought it was OK.

Ned up here in scotland means a wee gadgie scum bag that wears shell suits tucked into his sports socks, smokes, drinks and wears too much gold jewellery

Ed is a cool name

I prefer traditonal strong boys names like Matthew, Thomas, Gabriel, Luke etc

Dizzy - apart from one friend I have NEVER bought a present for a baby girl, everyone I know has boys.

My virtual baby boy would be called Elliot

I think we would shorten it to Ed.

I love Ronnie but have had to discount it because it rhymes with one of my other DC's name...

hi dizzy this is unchartered terrority for us boys names it's like when you are in Next I believe theres a whole section of blue clothes, never been in it though
