What would your DC be called if they were the opposite sex?

From when I was about 10 I knew my first child would be a girl - I was convinced she would be before I got PG, and all the way through the pregnancy

I refused to even discuss the possibility of her being a boy with DH

Goodness knows what I would have done if she had turned out to be a boy

Although we would really have wanted Aleksander but that's DP's name and I hated the idea of my LO with the same name as his dad!

I would like to think DD1 would be called Gruffydd, but in all reality she would probably have been Elijah.

If my dd had been a boy, we would probably have named him Hugo or Quentin - may still use if we have another boy!

I couldn't recycle the name the next time either so DD would have been Oscar or Mika and DS would have been Scarlet or Amelie.

interestingly though we never passed the unused name onto the next one, so we never used any of those names.
