also not loving the matching blonde highlights. bet they share the hair straighteners in the morning while the nanny looks after Rayn Lee Amethyst Ryan. Poor child.

Its the combination of "Rose" and "Quartz"
Might as well call them "Gold Plated" or "Nine Carat" or... "Gem Stone"
Tis just wrong.

Rose Quartz isn't that awful - lots of people have atrocious middle names and Rose is OK.
(Suddenly thinks of Rose West and takes against name).

But I'm not too fussed about unusual names. Given that so many kids will have names that sound unusual or unfamiliar to their classmates, whether it's Ezekiel or Butterfly or Plasma-Screen Chavtastic.
