The look of horror on the baby's face says it all.

Mooseheart · 16/01/2009 12:48

silicon

Mooseheart · 16/01/2009 12:47

Oh God, I think I've lost the will to live.

When skim reading the article I thought they were talking about a girl with that name until I got to the twonky bit about Rose Quartz. Surely Rose Sillicon Dioxide would be prettier and less of a name for an automaton?

I don't think it goes far enough. There aren't any apostrophes or hyphens.

Ray'n Lee-(a)mur thist Ryan would ahve been better

wasabipeanut · 16/01/2009 12:37

This has cheered me up no end.

Priceless.

thumbwitch · 16/01/2009 12:30

tragic, innit!
poor child, and amethyst for a boy too.. still, as he grows up, his name may come to be the least of his embarrassments!

brightongirldownunder · 16/01/2009 12:26

My arse is he straight - he looks more like a lady than she does! Poor little bugger's asking to get bullied with tangoed parents like that.
Lordy @ Rose Quartz......

Megglevache · 16/01/2009 12:07

PMSL @ CD.

lunamoon2 · 15/01/2009 22:50

pml at Elf comments.

Rose Quartz, ooh what about Cubic Zircona

CountessDracula · 14/01/2009 17:57

That baby clearly doesn't belong to them
they have orange skin and he is pink

treedelivery · 14/01/2009 17:51

Ray-on. Toooooo close to Rave-on from Phoenix/Pheonix/[sp?] nights.

ROFL...the joy a simple naming can bring me. Really is a giggle. Bless 'em!

whitenoise · 14/01/2009 17:19

How do you say it?

Is it like Rain or a mispronunciation of Ryan? (Ray-on)

at least he gets to drop the amethyst part for day to day!

poor little fella

KatB · 14/01/2009 17:10

Hahahahahahahahahahaha.

Oh dear, poor child - destined to be a perma-tanned, bleached blonde rubbish pop star

Lotster · 14/01/2009 15:42

Bugger there goes my pelvic floor again.

Jesus wept.

"It's an anagram of Ryan" - Really? thanks Lee! What a tit!!!!

MmeLindt · 14/01/2009 15:01

Poor baby, how will he ever live that down. There is something to be said about the German system of not allowing thick parents to chose such awful names.

ROFL at FAQ's link. Percipitation

BabyBaby123 · 14/01/2009 14:54

that is hilarious! What a pair of chavs - sorry!

Soph73 · 14/01/2009 14:46

Thank you sooo much, this thread has made my day & I nearly did PMSL at this comment:-

"Seriously, what are the chances of two people that thick meeting and falling in love with each other?"

Fortunately the Year 12 & 13 students I am normally in charge of at this time of day are in the hall doing their mocks so I can LOL to my hearts content Fab.

gingerninja · 14/01/2009 13:21

Has no one picked up on 'Rayn?s everything that I?m working for. I can?t wait till he gets older, then I can teach him the guitar and piano and how to sing.'

This is the funniest article and I just can't get over the idea that it is an intelligent anagram by shifting two letters around. Loving it.

PandaG · 14/01/2009 13:13

I have laughed so hard that I very nearly did PMSL! I don't usually comment on baby name threads, as it is generally each to their own, but this is just beyond daft!

Luxmum · 14/01/2009 13:11

Not only the most inanely pretentios chav name there is, not only the explaination of the anagram and the Lee in there too, but has anyone noticed the shockingly identical faces of the happy parents? Put a blonde wig and too much bronzer on pappy Ryan Lee, and eh voile, you have the Oompah Loompah wife. How much up your own arse do you have to be, to marry someone who looks JUST LIKE YOU?????

kerryk · 14/01/2009 13:05

we will know whether or not she is a mumsnetter if the name changes in the next week.

poor poor child though, i actually quite like rain for a little girl (if thats how rayn will be pronounced ) but it is tragic for a boy.

i cant believe she agreed to that name, my dh came up with some pretty dodgy names but was told no chance

lastboxoftampons · 14/01/2009 12:20

As far as precious stones go - I think Quartz is better suited to a boy and Amethyst to a girl, no? Not that either are names FFS!!!

Miggsie · 14/01/2009 09:19

should have called him "Nary" I think.
I think the baby wants to get off that bed and away from them...look at his expression!
