what will we do? Where am I going to find a name from? Who wants the dubious honour of picking one for me?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yeah I am sure that will put the op off the name. Alice is nice I just always think that people should look past them being children and think about them going for interviews and stuff (the celebs are the worst for this). Haveing said that I know a woman who is 30ish and is called Alice.

Clarissimo · 11/01/2009 17:03

'30year old called Alice???? '

Alice Cooper?

singyswife · 11/01/2009 17:00

Dorothy or Frances. Dorothy can be shortened to Dottie, very cute for a little girl! In fact, if it wasn't my Mum's name I would be Dottiesmama!

loobylu3 · 11/01/2009 11:49

Love the name Alice btw. It is my youngest sister's name and she has always loved it. It is the kind of name that will never become dated but has never been too popular either.
Do you need any more suggestions or are you decided now!?

claireybrations · 11/01/2009 11:27

Last night I remembered another Grace I know, she has a brother called Benedict. You could go for Benedicte. I knew a girl called Benedicte (nn Bené) and she was one of those really beautiful and lovely people who was impossible to dislike, has made me really like the name!

I'm not sure on Alice Owens tbh - Alice kind of 'runs' into Owens to give it a different sound. I hear Ali Sowens.

But to be fair, I'm a bit odd

I know Grace's with sisters called:
Alice (yes I know!)
Rebecca
Niamh
I know of a Maya who has a little sister Millie.

Also, how about:
Lucy
Hannah
Emily
Rose
Kate
Beth
Chloe
Megan
