If you had to pick a name that you would immediately consider 'beautiful' on hearing it, what would it be?

dd3 is Ashlee Jade but dh said no to double barreling hers

lilLAURAgladtobemeagain · 28/12/2008 11:04

i had this problem when i had dd2 as dd1 is my dh daughter and not mine biologically so her natural mother chose her name even though she lives with us (long story)

due to this when my 1st biological dd was in the oven i was determined to pick her a really pretty name

i liked hayley, libby, summer, ruby but decided to double barrel her name i always think that well matched double barreled names are gorgeous
so i chose Libby-Jaine
i think that it looks and sounds pretty

Crikey, beauty is def in the eye of the beholder, most of the names mentioned on here I think of as anything but "beautiful". Most the other suggestions I'd put down as 'dull' or 'odd'.

These types of names would make me think/feel 'beautiful':
Anna, Cassandra, Danielle, Diana, Isadora, Melissa (all the flowery type names, really).

Ahh, I'm all chuffed, my DD's first and middle name have been mentioned twice each.

Another name that I consider beatiful is Megan.
