Aurelia - would you pronounce it "Au-REH-lia" or "Au-REE-lia" ?

Other options we're (well, I'm) considering: Matilda - getting too popular now?, Kerenza, Milena and Cassia, amongst others.

Is Oleda too odd?

I like Aurelia, I knew one who was another 'ray' pronunciation.

I think it's better than the others. Oleda sounds like shampoo, Milena sounds like contraception...actually Cassia is nice, and I know a Kerensa, she's lovely.

Oleda sounds like Weleda (beauty products) to me.

Milena is pretty but makes me think of the ubiquitous Mylene Klass.

Cassia sounds made up - prefer Cassandra or Kasia (pronounced Kasha).

My only experience of an Aurelia is from "Love Actually (the girl Colin Firth dashes across Europe on Christmas Eve to propose to). She is pronounced Or-ray-lia. Lovely name.

Oleda - hmmm. But do like Oleeta (Sorry, bringing in a totally new name here).

Cassia - sounds like a spice!
Kerenza - Nice, wasn't this on the Cornish names thread recently?
Milena - Hmmmm.

Matila - LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! DH wouldn't let me have it, but then DC is a boy!
(Also probably the name on your list likely to generate the least amount of "Sorry, what was that? How do you spell it?" type comments in later life. Depends if this is important to you. Take it from me, with an unusual name, I would rather have a well known name than spend half my life spelling it out).

I knew a very stylish Milena. Also a Mileni, which does sound made up (she was Brazilian).

Sorry, I forgot to say before, I really like Aurelia. Kerenza and Milena are nice too but I would probably choose Cassandra over Cassia.

good old-fashioned name.
I know a Kerena, Kerenza is ok.
Oleda sounds like hair products.
