I have a VERY unusual name. In fact its so unusual that if I told you and you googled it the only thing that would come up would be my Facebook profile (I tried it......so as I may need to post incognito one day I can't tell you.

Anyway despite not being paricularly thrilled with my name when I was a teenager, I love it now and would love to name forthcoming DC's with something unusual.

What are the most unusual names you have heard of for both sexes???

I was going to post the name of a relative of mine, but googled it first (phew) and the only hits are for that person. That branch of the family specialises in unusual names, but I can't share any of them as it would be too identifiable

squeaver · 16/11/2008 21:40

Girl - Ladybird

Boys - Jet, Ace and Zoom (brothers. I shit you not)

AnarchyAunt · 16/11/2008 21:39

I've told it before and I'll tell it again...

Friend of mine knew a couple living on a traveller site in wales who called their first ds Boy and their second ds NewBoy.

No no tractor related names here...

Perhaps I should re-title this tread and ask what unusual names do you like (and would use if you could)??

I know a Valhalla, known as Halli. Really suits her but quite odd sounding at first
