What names can be shortened to Tilly?

My DH would like to call our DD Tilly, which I think is a nickname, not a proper name. I dont like Hilda, Tilda or Matilda though. Can anyone think of any other girls names that could have Tilly or Till as a nickname?

You're correct, Tilly is a nickname not a real name. If you don't like the names that have it as an abbreviation then I think you need to agree on something different. No good having a name one of you really doesn't like is there.

I know a girl called Ottilie who was known as Tilly
