haven't found one name that we like for dd3 (due nov)

  1. it has to sound the same in about 3 different languages (family and places we live) (kate and jane or charlotte don't work for example)
  1. not looking for anything too cute like polly, millie, maisie etc
  1. would like something that is not overly popular, but not like talulah or niamh

Cordelia, has always been a fav of mine, any good?

Like it shortened to Cordi, rather than Delia tho.

Deborah... means 'bee' in Hebrew, not too common in the UK, and sounds nice in french...

Daphna seems to work all over the place.
(I have known Daphnas who lived in in France, the UK and Israel).
Also Tamar.

Aviva is a lovely Hebrew name - dh and I considered it for dd1. Still love it.
Noa is another, and I think that would 'translate' well into French and English pronunciations - you could adapt it a little as well. I have an Israeli friend named Carmel, also appropriate for French/English. What about Eva or Ava or variations like Evelyn and Avaline?

If you both like Alexandra, you can use it and then make a mutual decision not to abbreviate it to Alex.
