Which do you prefer or do you think it doesn't matter?

Hannah. Or illiteracy class for you.

Hannah

my mum's Hanna - that is how they spell it in Poland, and we're Polish, so it is correct for her!
I think it is a lovely spelling..

Hannah, unless you have any strong connections with a country or culture that spells it differently.

MrsTittleMouse · 21/06/2008 18:10

Hannah.

UnderRated · 21/06/2008 18:04

My friend, just named her DD Hana - it is an Arabic name (and Japanese and various other cultures too, I think).

My friends name is more or less the same - just the first letter different, so they rhyme.

Lizzer · 21/06/2008 18:01

Hannah

OverMyDeadBody · 21/06/2008 17:50

or if you have arabic connections then Hanna, it seems to be the way a ot of them spell it when writing it in English.

geekgirl · 21/06/2008 17:44

actually, I'm German and it would have never occured to me to name dd1 anything other than Hannah. Perfectly normal name in Germany, too.
Don't think 'Hanne' is the same.

What LobstersLass said.
Totally.

LobstersLass · 21/06/2008 17:37

Hannah.
Unless you are German or Scandinavian.

colander · 21/06/2008 15:56

Hannah.

Otherwise all her future teachers will assume you are illiterate.

Also, DD1's middle name so I love it anyway.

Nancy66 · 21/06/2008 15:53

Hannah - lovely name. However be prepared to be forever flinching when people drop the H and call her 'anna.

As my side of the family are east enders - it's not an option for me !

laurz75 · 21/06/2008 15:15

Hannah definitely. We were going to call our first baby this but he turned out to be a boy!

QOD · 21/06/2008 15:01

Hanne
the German variety
