We've decided on Damien if it's a boy and Lilith if it's a girl. Both sides have been so negative about these choices so just looking for a little positivity.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I teach a Lilith. go for it….

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 25/04/2026 16:29

Melusine for a girl. Much nicer.

HotGazpacho · 25/04/2026 16:24

I'm sure either one would be a little angel OP 😃

Oh I know, I've just like the name since I was 10 and been talking about it since I was 10. Not sure why everyone in the family seems to be surprised by this tbh. It's not like you get people having a meltdown over the Adrian or Adam. Apparently a meh movie from the 70's left such an imprint.

Ignore the family, surely it's what you and your partner want?

Littlelisasimpson · 25/04/2026 16:16

I did teach a teenage girl called Lilith. I doubt her mum was very well read though.

RoseField1 · 25/04/2026 15:59

I quite like Lilith TBH. Damien no. Reminds me of Rodney Trotter.

shellyleppard · 25/04/2026 15:58

Lilith makes me think of you the TV comedy Frasier.....

DefiantRabbit9 · 25/04/2026 15:57

Redflagsabounded · 25/04/2026 15:44

Ha, even as Luciferians there's no reason to choose Damien - a random boy's name chosen for a novel/film that has no connection whatsoever to Luciferian beliefs.

I think Damien is quite dated, but I really like Lilith because I'm a Frasier fan.

We are Luciferian. Does that matter? Would you have a problem with a Muslim calling their son Mohammed? Or a Christian calling their daughter Mary?

Erm....
Not sure that comparison works...
“Damien” is a fictional character from a 1970s horror film 🫠

ButtonNoseAndSquidgyToes · 25/04/2026 15:55

Nope, nope and nope. No positivity for these names from me.

Yes you are the edge lord of mothers . Well done .

SpottyAlpaca · 25/04/2026 15:53

B- OP.

A few people fell for it, so not a bad effort.

MaggieBsBoat · 25/04/2026 15:52

I like them!

ItsJustMeMyself · 25/04/2026 15:51

Um these names are a hard no from me.

MeanwhileinGilead · 25/04/2026 15:49

I hate to pour on even more doubt, but I really must for the children's sake. Have you fully explored how popular these particular names have become? Will your child be happy being Lilith B. or Lilith C., or "Big Damien" or "Speccy Damien"? My Damien and Lilith are in their teens now and have been going by their middle names for years - Kallikantzeros and Tlahuelpuchi. (Lovely names, but it's still an adjustment!!) Little Krampus has been very lucky so far to be the only one in their class, but I fear it's only a matter of time.

Crikeyomalley · 25/04/2026 15:43

I like both TBH

ToadRage · 25/04/2026 15:42

I love them both especially Lilith but be prepared fur push back. Damien was the name of the evil little boy in The Omen and Lilith is officially known as the Queen of Darkness but it none of that bothers you go for it.

DefiantRabbit9 · 25/04/2026 15:40

SalmonOnFinnCrisp · 25/04/2026 15:34

Damian is a good solid name and the spelling i would use because... why would you use Damien unless you are satanists / cant spell.

Lilith is just very elderly / wet / precious.
Sorry but its not great lily is a million times better.

YY to Beelzebub 😅😅😅😅

Hopefully you will have twins and can use both names at the same time.

Well both work with Morningstar.

Cannybeme · 25/04/2026 15:39

Both are giving vampire.

RhododendronFlowers · 25/04/2026 15:38
