My PE teacher at school had a surname of Etchygoyne (sp?) but I remember some pretty awful pupils used to call her Mrs Itchygroin 😅🫣

Shameless place marking as DC2 and I love to prank call DC1, asking for random people like Chris P Bacon and Lee King.

Ah the good old accent comes into play here. Kerr vs Care are exactly the same in our accent. Same as Hare vs Hair vs her. He Is a consultant so not technically a Doctor label and very personable so never uses Mr etc

I'd say it 'carr'

MJFEB2026 · 20/02/2026 22:58

I know a Jo King!

Old colleague of mine called her daughter Chelsea Meadows.

TheDogsMother · 20/02/2026 22:54

Bit of a stretch though, as he would introduce himself as Dr Kerr, surely (also Kerr is not pronounced the same as care).

“End Of Care” is typically not who you want to be introduced to in hospital
