Nursemumma92 · 17/10/2025 22:44

Love Daisy, Sylvie and Nina

Myfridgeiscool · 17/10/2025 22:40

Sylvie. A happy go lucky name.

Belindabelle · 17/10/2025 22:35

I never come on these threads, and yet here I am. My absolute favorite girls name is on your list. I have two boys who are 27 and 20. Had either of them been girls I would have named them Rowan. I loved the name then and I love it still.

ladygindiva · 17/10/2025 22:19

Your list is very similar to mine, and one of my DDS names is on there. Fwiw I'm always sad I didn't use Romy, even though Boris has spoiled it now.

BreadstickBurglar · 17/10/2025 22:00

Robin, Nina or Zoe

Firebird83 · 17/10/2025 21:59

Frida, definitely! I know a little toddler Frida.

Moreteaandchocolate · 17/10/2025 21:38

Lovely list! Zoe is my favourite 🤩 I also really like Daisy, Sylvie and Nina. My least favourite is Rowan as I only know boys called Rowan.

idri · 17/10/2025 19:44

Nina

JollyJolene · 17/10/2025 19:38

Not a fan of Nina. Sounds like a siren in my head.

I really like Sylvie and Daisy from your list.

Mumofgirls2017 · 17/10/2025 19:34

oh and Romy. Love that.

Mumofgirls2017 · 17/10/2025 19:34

Daisy

sylvie or Nina if not

Lemonem · 17/10/2025 19:26

Daisy

HugoYorway · 17/10/2025 19:23

You are joking @FluffMagnet ? Daisy

FluffMagnet · 17/10/2025 19:11

Daisy. So rarely seen these days but a sweet classic.

biiigoldslaap · 17/10/2025 19:09

My favourites by far are Nina, Romy, and Frida all beautifully feminine names that feel at home in English and across Europe

HugoYorway · 17/10/2025 19:05

In order:
Zoe - like
Nina - like

Rowan - too unisex
Daisy - a bit twee
Robyn/ Robin - too unisex
Frida - I sort of like it but Freda seems like an old woman's name.
Romy - nothingy
Sylvie - don't like it. Sylvia is horrible

GrumpySparkler · 17/10/2025 18:56

You can't go wrong with any of those OP. They're all lovely!
My favourites are Nina or Sylvie - both were on our shortlist for girls (we had boys).

Bigearringsbigsmile · 17/10/2025 18:55

It surprises me how often Rowan comes up as a girls name. I would always think of it as a boy's name with Rowena being the female version.

Zoe is lovely. Daisy is quite nice.

HumerousHumous · 17/10/2025 18:53

Rowan is really lovely for a girl.
Robyn
Romy or Romily

Nina and Frida both feel very dated, rather like Susan and Donna back in the day. Ditto Sylvie or Sylvia.

FlutteryButterfly · 17/10/2025 18:49

I like Sylvie

Other suggestions-

Roma
Remi
Nova

Drawmouse · 17/10/2025 18:46

Sylvie is my favourite by a long stretch. Not one I have heard of recently. I love names with a v sound!!

Whereismyfleeceblanket · 17/10/2025 18:44

Has dd arrived? Or due when?
I love Robyn for a December baby!
Or Rowan for an autumn dc..

Zebracat · 17/10/2025 18:44

Depends on the surname(s). I like some repetition of sounds between the names. I like it when the vowel sounds in the first name are repeated in the surname. I also prefer a consonant either ending the first name or stating the second , otherwise they run together. Think about how the initial and surname sound, I know someone called R.Sole, which is unfortunate.I like all those names except Daisy and Zoe, and Daisy is growing on me!

AudiobookListener · 17/10/2025 18:36

Favourite first:

Nina
Frida
Sylvie
Daisy
Zoe
