Unusual consecutive letter suggestions?

Hello
I’m expecting my second child in December. My husband and I would like a name which has an unusual combination of consecutive letters in it. Like Django. We don’t know the sex of the baby so need a girl and boy name. Surname is very plain and starts with a B and middle name will be Marianne or Marcus. I saw a truck with Dhollandia on the back earlier so that sort of thing but a name for a child obviously, not a truck. Can anyone suggest one? TIA

Tadhg

I love the name Tadhg. If I’d had a son, that would have been high on my list.

Sadhbh (Sive, for a girl)

Beat me to it.

I think Lmnop is a good name (Ella-Men-Oh-Pee), reminds me of primary school - or try shutting your eyes and spamming random letters, gives some nice combos like Jdgbshjf and Osnhmke

I so sympathise, OP.

We have a boring surname. That’s why our daughter is called ‘Xggyribttpp’ (pronounced Jo).

🤣

Or alternatively pick a name like Dave and see how many silent letters / alternate spellings you can shoehorn in...

Daeighvhe is a perfectly lovely name.

Surely this applies to ALL names. Some parents choose overused top 10 names which the child ends up hating.

But they don’t have to spell them out every time which is one less burden.

HugoYorway · 08/08/2025 12:35

Rh and Ll are letters in Welsh. Prys and Floyd would fill the brief.

This is all about you. Spare a thought for your child being saddled with a name they have to spell out every time.

Well aren’t all names about what the parents like? It’s not like my newborn can name themselves? We have a very plain surname and I want something to be a bit more interesting and I happen to like Django but there is already one in my eldest’s class so just looking for something with a similar vibe. I would say it has to work in the UK though (London). Thank you for the suggestions so far.

And what about then forever having to correct spellings and pronunciation
