These are my favourites. I love the name Margot too, but I see it mentioned on here very often!

Juliette
Frida
Delyth
Annika

I love Frida but Juliette is a very beautiful name too (I love the spelling). Every Juliette that I know gets shortened to Jules which isn’t so nice imo.

Freda… yes!
you may also like Bridie

I ADORE Juliette and Annika - they are two of my favorites as well.

They'd be my picks too.

I really dislike Delyth and although the spelling of Frida looks quite cool, am not keen on Freda, which is essentially the same sound.

Dogaredabomb · 27/05/2025 19:26

I love e Juliet, none of the others are for me. Juliet and Lucinda are my fave names.

Nextdoormat · 27/05/2025 18:34

I had a Hungarian learner and she said in her child's class out of 15 girls 14 were called Julia😂

Juliette
Frida
Delyth
Annika

love Delyth and I love Juliet - but only this spelling.

Andoutcomethewolves · 22/05/2025 15:16

Frida is lovely, my friend has a DD named this (after Frida Kahlo) but she does get called Fred a lot (which doesn't even make sense to me 🤣)

Juliet is my preference, mainly because two of my favourite people in the world are named this

Juliette just makes me think of Juliette Lewis and her Scientology affiliation (that's probably just a me thing though!)

PrettyPuss · 22/05/2025 15:05

Annika is a very cool name.

SophiaSW1 · 22/05/2025 15:02

I like Juliette but spelt Juliet. Otherwise she will spend her whole life getting it mis-spelt.

ExquisiteSocialSkills · 22/05/2025 14:55

Another vote for Annika and Juliet.

motleymop · 22/05/2025 14:49

Agree with PPs that Julia is lovely.
Might get flamed, but what about Anita.

lurkerchan · 22/05/2025 14:24

Delyth is lovely

sausagefingers2 · 21/05/2025 15:42

Juliette but spelt Juliet. It looks much nicer.
Not keen on any of the others sorry.

mathanxiety · 21/05/2025 15:41

I love Elfrida too.

Juliette is so lovely. As is Julia. Classic.

Fully agree. I would have used Julia for my daughter but it’s my aunt’s name

MonkeyTennis34 · 21/05/2025 11:48

Happyinarcon · 21/05/2025 02:32

I love all of these with the minor tweak of preferring Elfreda

I love Elfrida, it be can shortened to Elfie.

NefiBlw · 21/05/2025 08:11

Juliette is too fussy spelled like that. Juliet is lovely. I agree.
Juliette makes me think of Serviette.

Delyth is a Welsh name but non-Welsh speakers won’t be familiar with it and will need to be told how to spell and pronounce it. (I would have thought it was pronounced Dellith but that’s not what the internet says.)
It is pronounced Dellith. It's a name that was popular in the 1960s,and means 'pretty', but it was a made up name that wasn't popular for long.

Annika also sounds like a 60-yr-old.

Frida's ok. Wouldn't choose it. Elfrida isn't nice.It's a bit witchy,and notin a good way.

I don't really like Margot but at least it sounds quite current.

Seventimesaday · 21/05/2025 07:55

I like Frida best out of your list because it’s not a common name.
they are all lovely though.
I used to know a Delyth, she very quickly became Del or Del-boy.

Mumofgirls2017 · 21/05/2025 07:40

Juliette ❤️

Turnups · 21/05/2025 07:12

Juliette is too fussy spelled like that. Juliet is lovely.
I like Anneka but have just checked and you spelled it with an I in the middle. I wouldn’t be the only one who kept spelling it wrong.
Same with Frida/Freda.
I like Margot. Not sure it’s over-popular in real life.
I know Delyth is a Welsh name but non-Welsh speakers won’t be familiar with it and will need to be told how to spell and pronounce it. (I would have thought it was pronounced Dellith but that’s not what the internet says.) Also, sorry but it sounds to me like someone with a lisp.

Moreteaandchocolate · 21/05/2025 06:58

Frida and Delyth would be my picks, both are lovely and underused names. They’re also 2 syllables, so less likely to be shortened than Juliette and Annika (who may become known as Julie / Jules and Ann / Annie).

DeSoleil · 20/05/2025 23:29

One of my sisters is Juliette, it’s a beautiful name.

Not so keen on the others.

Agree. Juliette is lovely though

Happyinarcon · 21/05/2025 02:32

paranoiaofpufflings · 21/05/2025 02:25

I love Frida and Delyth, lovely choices. The other two are nice but not my top choice. You might also like Dilys? Seems to ‘fit’ Frida and Delyth.
