Sibling for Matilda and Jemima.

Any other suggestions? Can’t have a ‘th’ in because my husband pronounces ‘th’ as ‘f’ 🤦🏼‍♀️

Lowen? I think much nicer than Lowenna and goes really nicely with your other names.

tulipsandlambs · 07/04/2025 12:15

I like Lowenna, to my surprise as I don’t like Rowenna or Morwenna.

Marigold is a bit … not sure really. The flower is pretty but I personally don’t really like it, maybe a bit too offbeat. (It’s also the name of a bipolar mother in a Jacqueline Wilson novel!)

Rosalind is lovely but I don’t like Roz. I’m not massively keen on Sylvie, so it would be Florence or Lowenna for me!

Lavinia

Karasis · 07/04/2025 12:13

Weird how much people hate Marigold! It's a lovely name and flower in my opinion.

Karasis · 07/04/2025 12:12

They're all lovely. I think Matilda and Marigold is adorable. But I would probably go Sylvie. Matilda and Sylvie! So sweet.

KnittedFerret · 07/04/2025 11:54

She might be but I don't like the name. Sylvia is even worse.

Lowenna
Rosalind
Florence
all nice, but likely to get shortened. My preference is Rosalind, but Florence goes better with the sisters' names

Don't like:
Marigold - no
Sylvie - 60 yt old French woman

I know a little Sylvie aged about 4. She’s like a little sylvan nymph! It’s beautiful on her!

Sylvie is my favourite girl's name and I also love Rosalind.

What about Rowena?

I also loved Rosalind.

Our surname starts with a W so felt Rowena W was too W heavy 🥴 Lovely name though.

I love Marigold but agree with previous posters about same initials so voted for Rosalind. I also like Rosalie.

BoleynMemories13 · 07/04/2025 09:35

When I read the title I was going to vote Rosalind, as a best of the bunch scenario, but it's not really to my taste. Then I saw you also have Florence on your list, which is softer in sound and is a much more similar style to your other girls.

Marigold is dreadful and I would avoid a same initials scenario anyway.

sprigatito · 06/04/2025 22:29

I love Rosalind, it’s one of my favourites. The other two are lovely too.

Mumofgirls2017 · 06/04/2025 22:28

Love marigold but would go Rosalind to avoid same initial.

Marigolds? Like the rubber gloves? Really?

No singular, like the flower which has been around much longer than rubber gloves 🧤.

Chunkilumptious · 06/04/2025 22:14

Out of those, Rosalind, not another long -a name. Not essential but it's nicer to break it up a bit

Calliopespa · 06/04/2025 22:11

I voted Sylvie.

I like Florence but it’s getting very over-used.

SkaneTos · 06/04/2025 22:09

They are all good names!

I voted for Rosalind.

roshi42 · 06/04/2025 21:56

Love Marigold but voted Rosalind as then you don’t have a shared initial. Rosalind sounds lovely with the others.

or how about Rowena?

Gowlett · 06/04/2025 21:54

Rosalind is lovely with Matilda & Jemima.
