As a nickname would you assume girl or boy?

Boy, for all that I know it can be either, I have never actually met a girl Frankie… but lots of little boy Frankie’s!

But I work with the elderly, so have a lot of male Frankie's which is influencing my opinion

Frankie is one of the few genuinely unisex names to me - I think I’d slightly lean towards girl but wouldn’t assume so at all.

If child/older I would assume girl. If toddler/young child I would assume boy (in line with the trend for Alfie/Stanley type names).

I love it though, and wouldn’t be surprised either way.
