Hello! We've been having a hard time naming DD2 - We live in London and finding the process so difficult.
DH likes Robyn - I don't mind this but don't love it either.
I like Celine & possibly Clara.
DD1 is Isla - I don't mind if their names don't 'match' as such but really want a pretty, elegant but not too twee name for our new addition.
Celine has really been growing on me recently as it's not overly popular (apart from Ms Dion obvs!) and I like the option of CeCe when she's little.

Thanks if you've got this far and please feel free to give your thoughts!
Have a great day! ☀️

Celine is lovely but Cece is ridiculous. Why can’t children be called by that actual names anymore?

I'm not keen on Celine and Cece is awful

Celine is lovely! Elegant even, and CeCe is a cute n n too!

Celine is great. Very strong and lovely with Isla.

AllHisCaterpillarFriends · 17/02/2025 09:44

Cece is lovely as a nn when small.

I've been thinking about this and I don't think any kids will think of Celine Dion, she isn't relevant now.

I like Celine, Clara is lovely too but Isla and Clara sound a bit too matchy

I don't like Robyn for a girl personally

Moreteaandchocolate · 17/02/2025 09:18

It’s objectively a nice name but I think I’d get fed up of having Celine Dion songs sung at me if it was my name! How about Selena?

Isla and Clara sound brilliant together to me. I also really like Robyn.

I like both Robyn and Celine. But it doesn't sound like your husband is sold on Celine?

What about Celeste, Colette, Corinne, Camille, Coraline, Delphine, Rowan, Marissa, Marcella, Marcelline, Marina, Nadine

AllHisCaterpillarFriends · 17/02/2025 07:54

First time you hear it you think Dion.

Bust actually after saying it a few times it does become a really nice name.

One the name is attached to a girl, the Dion reference will disappear.

I like Celine. It's pretty anf underused but known. Good choice IMO
