Why not use the original Irish spelling of Fanjo - Faieaghniulaidh? If people can't spell it that's their problem IMHO.

But with my surname, King, I really couldn't use it - the shortening of it really would make for a rather rude name!

I like B'um Face as it can be used for either sex, although I think it does have more of a boyish ring to it.

i posted not so long ago that I quite fancied 'Plinth' and someone ruined it for me by suggesting that it sounded like 'Prince' with a lisp.
