Narrowed it down to three baby girl names:
Lilly
Sadie
Zara

Which is your fave? 💕

Sadie

sanityisamyth · 30/11/2024 21:28

Lily, but spelt correctly.

ohyesido · 30/11/2024 21:23

Lily with one L is far more elegant than double in my opinion

SkaneTos · 30/11/2024 21:13

They are all lovely names!

Marcipex · 30/11/2024 21:12

Lillian, then Lilly/Lillie makes sense.

Zara is lovely too.

I like the sound of Sadie, but it does say Sad.

starlight94 · 30/11/2024 21:08

Zara is a lovely name

BodyOdour · 30/11/2024 20:43

Lily - pretty, Lilly - 'Lilly with a double L'
Zara - OK
Sadie OK

I'd pick Sadie as it's more unusual

BoleynMemories13 · 30/11/2024 19:46

Any reason for the Lilly spelling? She'll spend her life having people spell it Lily. I'd always opt for the usual spelling. I do like Lily, despite the national popularity. It's not actually that popular around me anyway.

Sadie is sweet sounding but, as another poster pointed out, it's quite unfortunate visually.

Zara is ok but I've always found it to he a bit harsh sounding. I much prefer Lara, which kind of combines Lily and Zara!

Out of those 3, I would choose Lily (this spelling).

shoopshoopdedoo · 30/11/2024 19:35

Zara
Lily

Less keen on Sadie

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 30/11/2024 19:23

I like them all, but 'Lily', not 'Lilly'.

BeyondMyWits · 30/11/2024 19:20

I have a lovely niece called Sadie. I remember thinking what a beautiful name my sister chose. Really suits her.

TheaBrandt · 30/11/2024 19:16

Too many Lily’s over use has dulled its charm

LadyGabriella · 30/11/2024 19:15

Berlinlover · 30/11/2024 19:11

I’ll never look at the name Sadie in the same way again.

Me neither 😱

LadyGabriella · 30/11/2024 19:15

Lily but I prefer it with 1 L.

Berlinlover · 30/11/2024 19:11

Rosybud88 · 30/11/2024 18:18

Lilly.

I once worked with a lady called Sadie and she said she hated her name because it had the words sad and die in it, and I haven’t been able to forget this.

I’ll never look at the name Sadie in the same way again.

ThistleTits · 30/11/2024 19:09

1, Sadie, 2, Lilly, 3, Sara.
Sadie is short for Sarah, perhaps that but call her Sadie.

mathanxiety · 30/11/2024 19:05

Sadie
Zara

Lilly

Normallynumb · 30/11/2024 19:04

Sadie. Closely followed by Zara

cariadlet · 30/11/2024 18:59

Lily with one L - I like traditional spellings for names.

Moreteaandchocolate · 30/11/2024 18:49
  1. Lily (Spelt this way)
  2. Sadie
  3. Zara (nice but gets misheard as Sara)
Pottedpalm · 30/11/2024 18:29

Lilly

MumonabikeE5 · 30/11/2024 18:29

Not Lilly

Rosybud88 · 30/11/2024 18:18

Lilly.

I once worked with a lady called Sadie and she said she hated her name because it had the words sad and die in it, and I haven’t been able to forget this.

Scutterbug · 30/11/2024 18:17

Lilly but spelled Lily.

XmasNameChangeFail · 30/11/2024 18:16
