It's a sweet idea but don't do it - soon the baby is a child and the transient snow is just a memory.

Jon (Snow)

Especially appropriate for a newborn baby - who will (at this stage) know nothing!

Nieves is a lovely Spanish name which means "snows"

Similarly, Neves (2 syllables) is the Galician version of this name

RedOnyx · 19/11/2024 17:45

Natasha/Natalia/Natalie means Christmas day or born on Christmas, that feels kind of snowy.

Yseult/Iseult/Isolde means something like ice battle or ice warrior.

Zima is Polish for winter.

Noel or Noelle.

Anxioustealady · 19/11/2024 17:22

From my head -
Whitney? Don't know what it means but it's almost like "white"
Ivory

From google -
Janus (male)/Janara (female) - God/goddess of snow in Roman Myths
Zane - white as snow
Cypress - winter tree
Noelle
Robin
Crystal/Christina

Ember (kind of opposite what you asked but I think that's a nice idea for a baby born in winter, cosy)

Victoriancat · 19/11/2024 16:30

I always liked Holly and Ivy for wintery names

cheezncrackers · 19/11/2024 16:15

Neve is snow is Italian (pron. neh-veh). But Neve (N-eve) would work well in English.
