Zoh-sha. Like Gosia but with a Z

user2848502016 · 10/11/2024 13:06

Zo-sha

Moonlightstars · 10/11/2024 13:05

I know how it is pronounced in a Polish way. It's not hard for English people to say or remember once told. Not like Pszemek or Zbigniew 😜

Zosha

Or Z-oh-z-ee-uh

BoleynMemories13 · 10/11/2024 12:33

I only know it as Zoh-sha.

sel2223 · 10/11/2024 12:12

Zoh (like so) - sia (like Mia)

AnotherNC22 · 10/11/2024 08:56

Zoh-sha. Polish version of Sophia i think? I have a lovely lovely friend with this name so only positive vibes from me!

miffmufferedmoof · 10/11/2024 08:35

ZO-see-a

From seeing it written, having never come across the name before so I don't know where it might be from, that's what I'd go with too as a first guess.

Blarn · 10/11/2024 08:52

Zo Shia but the i sound is only brief. I knew a Zosia and that's how she pronounced it.

OliviaRodrighost · 10/11/2024 08:49

Zosha. Like Zosia Mamet from Girls.

SquigglePigs · 10/11/2024 08:48

Zo-sha but only because my DD had someone at nursery called Gosia (Go-sha).

When I first saw it written down I read it in my head as Go-see-a but fortunately heard someone else say it before I needed to!

miffmufferedmoof · 10/11/2024 08:35

ZO-see-a

I would guess this too but would be easily corrected.

Porlocks · 10/11/2024 08:43

Zosh-a, like in Holby City. I really liked her character!

Peclet · 10/11/2024 08:36

SorryNotSorryForWhatISaid · 10/11/2024 08:30

The one I know is Zo-Shah (Zo pronounced like Joe)

FriendlyNeighbourhoodAccountant · 10/11/2024 08:26

Zoh-sha
Only because I have a Polish friend called Gosia and she introduces herself as Goh-sha

Awaywiththeferries123 · 10/11/2024 08:24

Same. I know it from Holby City and it was pronounced Zoh-sha

BarbaraHoward · 10/11/2024 08:24

I'd guess zoh-zha but be happy to be corrected.

Pillarsofsalt · 10/11/2024 08:22

Zosh -a

(like Josh)
