I haven’t heard this name often. What do you think?

Made up by George R R Martin?

Not great imo.

Wren?

lazytoday · 03/11/2024 12:50

Not keen. It sounds like a made up name from two other names.

JFDIYOLO · 03/11/2024 12:50

Poor kid.

CaptainMyCaptain · 03/11/2024 12:50

Neither Renley or Renly sound like a real name and Renly looks like a spelling mistake.

Moreteaandchocolate · 03/11/2024 12:50

I love the sound of it - not heard it before. Love Ren / Wren for short. Only thing is you might get some initial reactions as above that it’s made up or not a real name, if that bothers you?

Serendipity and Wren as a nickname is less ridiculous.

Renley sounds like a small town.

Agreed. Could be a hamlet in Warwickshire, Renley-upon-Avon? Possibly a suburb in Croydon. Not a girl's name.

Waterboatlass · 03/11/2024 12:41

Not a fan

Purplecatshopaholic · 03/11/2024 12:27

Eh? That’s not an actual name is it? If it is, it shouldn’t be..

DefinitelyNotMaybe · 03/11/2024 12:27

How about Wren?

rosydreams · 03/11/2024 12:27

remi is cute or renata or renee

sprigatito · 03/11/2024 12:27

I've seen it spelt Wrenleigh online

It's not for me

Squirrelsnut · 03/11/2024 12:27

In Game of Thrones it's a male name, I think.
It makes me think of Renfield, Dracula's creepy assistant.

WrongSortOfPoster · 03/11/2024 12:26

Male name from Game of Thrones.

Harvestfestivalknickers · 03/11/2024 12:26

Is it a name? Sounds like a small town.
