Baby girl, no name due in 2 weeks!

Name changed as I share our names in this. As the title, I'm due in 2 weeks.

Already have two girls, Florence and Robin. I'm becoming increasingly anxious we don't have a single name that feels right!

DH likes quite old fashioned names. He likes Connie but we don't like Constance. He likes Edith with Edie as a nickname but I'm not sure, where we live in the north west I already get a lot of 'oh isn't Florence very old fashioned' comments, I think Edith would illicit more of the same!

I really liked Eden instead and we were quite set on this for a while, but then had a bad experience with another child who turned out to be called Eden and it's just spoiled it for us.

I'm honestly finding it impossible. We have trawled lists and lists of girls names with no luck!

Please share some girls names. I like Olive but our surname is Doyle which sounds too much like Olive Oil!

I love the name Eden. If you really like it then I don't think you should let one child put you off, though I suppose you can't help how you feel. You'd also be able to uuse Edie for Eden instead of Edith.

Florence and Robin are very different names so you don't have to be tied to a particular name style. Maybe that's what's making it so hard for you - you could have literally anything.

Names in the same style as Florence without being 'too old fashioned' (as you said people in your area comment on it):
Astrid, Beatrix, Cassandra, Charlotte, Daisy, Eleanor, Evelyn, Francesca, Faith, Georgina, Grace, Harriet, Hope, Imogen, Juliet, Katherine, Lorelai, Lucy, Lily, Lydia, Matilda, Meredith, Nadia, Olivia, Philippa, Penelope, Ruby, Rosanna, Sylvia, Sophia, Tamara, Thalia, Verity, Victoria

Names in the same style as Robin:
Amber, Amy, Autumn, Alexis, Bronte, Carys, Cherry, Cleo, Darcey, Dulcie, Delphi, Erin, Elowen, Fern, Giselle, Heidi, Halle, Hazel, Ivy, Iris, Inez, Juno, Jenna, Katie, Kirsten, Lauren, Lois, Lena, Maeve, Nyah, Niamh, Orla, Phoebe, Polly, Quinn, Rosie, Romy, Rowan, Raven, Rivkah, Sadie, Summer, Scarlett, Skye, Seren, Tessa, Thea, Vashti, Veda, Willow, Wren, Xanthe, Zara, Zia

Names in the same style as Eden:
Aubrey, Avery, Addison, Blair, Briar, Cassidy, Casey, Everly, Ebony, Effie, Enya, Etta, Fallon, Genesis, Hadley, Hayley, Juniper, Kiki, Keltie, Keziah, Livia, Leah, Madison, Michaela, Nova, Nia, Paige, Piper, Riley, Reagan, Skylar, Sutton, Tansy, Taryn, Tegan, Zeryn

I think other PPs have great suggestions here. With your other daughters' names, I like Clara, Alice, Josie, Helena (nn Lena). Agree that Eden is a very different vibe.

If you picked the name early with you other daughters, it may always feel different this time around, but that doesn't mean it's not right. Maybe have a shortlist and then pick the right one when you meet her?

I think Ottilie sounds lovely with your other names. Willow is nice too. Matilda? Olivia? Mabel? Jemima?

Don't let one child ruin Eden for you!
That name is gorgeous and really goes well with your other two!

Honestly I think this other child has done you a favour regarding Eden. It's a bit of a, um, chavvy name and I've seen it more on boys. A really different feeling to your other names.

Florence, Robin and Cleo, Juno, Thea, Helena, Elinor, Hanna, Autumn

I like Zoe with Florence & Robin.
But I would say go with the name you love and don't worry what others think. There will always be someone who doesn't like the name whatever you choose.
